A visit to Taunton Bowling Club

On Sunday 26th June, I was invited down to Taunton Bowling Club’s ’Open Day’.
The event was held to promote the popular Vivary Park Club’s superb facilities and to offer complete beginners (like me) a chance to try bowling for themselves.
I’d like to thank everyone for their warm welcome, and a say a special thank you to coach Roger, who miraculously taught me to bowl vaguely in the right direction.
My lesson today took place on one of the three indoor bowling rinks which I enjoyed it so much, I’m having a lesson on the club’s outdoor green in the coming weeks.
