Somerset Armed Forces Day 2022

It was an absolute pleasure to be invited along to this year’s Somerset Armed Forces Day and lovely to see so many of you there amongst the estimated attendance in excess of 20,000 people.
A massive shoutout to the organisers and volunteers, who did an amazing job producing a show for everyone of all ages to enjoy.

“Somerset Armed Forces Day is a FREE community event to show your support for, and celebrate, the men and women who make up the Armed Forces and Emergency Services communities: from those still serving, their families, veterans and cadets.”
They went on to promise and did indeed deliver, a “fun filled day for all the family, open to all and free to attend. Lots of displays and stalls throughout Vivary Park and Wilton Lands.”
