Bishop’s Hull Hub
For this month’s Community News article (September 2017), I thought I’d bring some news about the prospects of a new Hall, replacing the existing Church Hall.
An open day was held in the current church hall on Friday 21st July to showcase the work completed so far on the project.
Plans are very much in the early stages and the newly formed Hall Trust needed plenty of input from the residents of Bishop’s Hull.
It was held on the last day of School and weather conditions were atrocious, however this certainly didn’t deter so many of you from coming along. Clearly Bishop’s Hull is blessed with many like-minded locals, who share the dream of a thriving village community.
From the trustees: “It’s official, the feedback forms have been collated and the new facility will be called ‘Bishops Hull Hub’.
Thank you for all your comments and suggestions from the open day, they have all been considered.”
A lot of hard work went into the open day and I’d like to say very well done to the trustees of Bishop’s Hull Hub and to volunteers from Bishop’s Hull Parish Council, the Village Hall & Playing Field Trust and the Church, who all had presentation stands at the event. The new plans for the Church frontage went down particularly well with everyone.
