Due to the understandable cancellation of this year’s Bishop’s Hull Flower Show, the committee decided to ask residents to share their photos and videos, forming a virtual flower show.
With this in mind, I’ve been asked to assist with taking photos/videos for those who’d like me to do so. Taunton’s main show was also cancelled, so I’ve decided to include gardens tours in Comeytrowe and Taunton West. Below are videos and photos from those that have invited me into their gardens.
Please note, that social distancing guidelines were adhered to at all times.

🌹Virtual Garden Tour No.1 – Jane and David’s Garden🌹
It was an absolute pleasure to be invited on a guided tour around the absolutely beautiful two acre garden of Jane and David Gurr, situated right here in Bishop’s Hull.
Before viewing, I’d suggest making a cuppa and relaxing in a comfy chair. The video has been edited down from almost an hour, to around 30 minutes, as there’s so much to fit in.
I’d like to say a personal thank you to the Gurr’s for their kind invitation and hope that you enjoy the video.

🌹Virtual Garden Tour No.2 – Marian’s Garden🌹

🌹Virtual Garden Tour No.10 – Sharon and Jeremy’s Garden🌹
It was lovely to be invited along to video Sharon and Jeremy’s lovely garden situated in the Hoveland’s are of Taunton.
The couple only moved into the property a rear ago and Sharon explained…
“We moved into the property exactly a year ago this weekend. We inherited 3 shrubs and a lawn when we moved in. I instantly started digging borders and I’ve just dug another 2 in lockdown please excuse the bare earth but I’m growing wallflowers and foxgloves to fill that area next spring. I have an Arbour to go in and I’m researching roses and clematis to hopefully cover that.
Hopefully our garden represents many similar size gardens and what can be done in a year”

🌹Virtual Garden Tour No.11 – Isobel’s Garden🌹
It was an absolute pleasure to be invited by local Stonegallow’s resident Isobel, to view her beautiful garden today.
I hope you enjoy the video Isobel and thank you once again for your kind invitation.
